2.Mechanical A) You need to have a Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI course from a recognized institution of NCVT/SCVT in respective trade.
OR
You need to have a matriculation/SSLC course completed act apprenticeship.
OR
B) You need to have a 3 years of Diploma in a respective engineering discipline from recognized Institution.
2. Technicians All Trades Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT/SCV in relevant trades
or
Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the relevant trade mentioned in notification.
3- Medical Standards:
You need to have a Distance vision of 6/6, 6/9, 6/12 according to the post you are applying for.
You need to be generally fit in all physical aspects in order to carry out your duties efficiently.
Examination Fee:
Candidates have to pay Rs. 500/- For all candidates except the fee concession categories, Rs. 250/- for Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Ex-Serviceman/ PWDs/ Female/ Transgender/ Minorities/ Economically backward class through Online using internet banking or Debit/ Credit Cards or through offline using Challan in any branch of SBI/ Computerized Post Office Pay-In-Slip

2- Second Stage CBT:
The Second Stage CBT shall have two parts viz Part A and Part B as detailed below:

Know RRB ALP Salary & Promotion
- There shall be negative marking for incorrect answers in First and Second Stage CBT.
- 1/3rd of the marks allotted for each question shall be deducted for each wrong answer.
Selection Procedure:
If you have applied for ALP and qualified in Second Stage CBT will have to appear for Computer Based Aptitude Test followed by Document Verification. There shall be no negative marking for Computer Based Aptitude Test.
If you are applying for Technicians then you will be directly called for Document Verification after both the stages of CBT.
The candidate needs to secure a minimum score in each of the test batteries to qualify. This is applicable to all candidates and no relaxation is permissible.
Final Selection:
The ALP Merit List will be drawn from the candidates qualifying in the Aptitude Test, with 70% weightage for the marks obtained in the Part A of Second Stage CBT and 30% weightage for the marks obtained in Computer Based Aptitude Test.
